538 The Shores: Custom Luxury Home Construction
In addition to the massive 20,000 square foot ultra-luxury custom home that we are building in the prestigious Vista del Mar community of West Bay, Cayman Structural Group is also breaking ground on a few other commercial and luxury custom home projects.
Our newest project is a 5,000 square foot custom luxury home located in The Shores at West Bay. This well-established, gated community features canal front properties and breathtaking views of the serene blue water just a few steps outside.
Groundbreaking took place on January 16, with crews hard at work since then preparing the site for construction. After surveying and measuring the site, dump trucks and bulldozers and other heavy equipment began to unload and move material to make the lot more suitable for home construction. Work is now underway on the foundation and underlying structure of the luxury custom home. After measuring and marking for walls and plumbing, construction crews began digging lines to lay pipes, rebar, and other building components before pouring the concrete construction. Since, they have poured the concrete foundations and have prepared to build up the walls of the structure using insulating concrete form (ICF) blocks. These blocks are pieced together like building blocks, then concrete is poured in the wall cavity to act as a strengthening and insulating material.
Once complete, this residence will boast 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, breathtaking views, ultra-strong insulated concrete form construction, and nearly 5,000 square feet of living space to spread out and relax.
Cayman Structural Group is the general contractor, project manager, and contract manager for this custom home ICF construction.
