538 The Shores Custom Home - Update 8/5/17

Custom Luxury Home Construction

Electrical work has begun on the home, and is being completed with swift and deft hands. Several photos can also be seen of the crew smoothing out exterior concrete below. Furthermore, windows have begun to be inserted in the designated areas.

The heat is fierce in the Caymans these days. So our crew is staying cool and staying busy. We have been hard at work on a number of residential and commercial custom building projects, including this custom luxury home.

This project is a 5,000 square foot custom home located in The Shores at West Bay. This well-established, gated community features canal front properties and breathtaking views of the serene blue water just a few steps outside. Once complete, this luxurious private residence will boast 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and breathtaking canal front views all while employing ultra-strong insulated concrete form (ICF) construction.

This custom home is being built with insulating concrete form (ICF) blocks.

The blocks are pieced together like building blocks, then concrete is poured in the wall cavity to act as a strengthening and insulating material. Using this technique, construction crews are able to erect walls and other structures quickly and easily.

Cayman Structural Group is the general contractor, project manager, and contract manager for this custom home ICF construction.
